Lucky 7! :rollsmile I'm starting this early because I have a slate of things to do tonight related to things for next week, so the work feels like a unit. My internet is finally getting a complete makeover, and the computer will have to go in a different place for the cable hookup. Lots of things to move around :jug:

Friday night:
Pack up lapghans for donation
Pack up snuggles for donation
Put away all yarn and projects in living room
Move recliner
Clear and move work table
Clear off and move trunk
Move bookcases
Move computer and printer
Vacuum living room
Put away puzzle table

Saturday:
1. Clear off writing-dining table
2. Move toaster oven and freezer
3. Declutter bedroom
4. Deliver snuggles
5. Deliver lapghans
6. Call Mardorina
7. Change email for online sites
8. Send out email change of address to contacts
9. File crochet patterns, move pattern books
10. Clean microwave
11. Refill sweetener packets container
12. Put away prescription refills
13. Update FV and CV signatures

Early is good Donna - mahalo for getting us going!! Shall post tonight after I have time to plan. Think I may be a little overextended in all I need/want to do - a plan will help - saying no just might help more!! ;)

MM - Saying no is good too. Except what I tend to say no to is washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom....

After I get over the shock of paying for cable for the internet - no tv, so no bundle, so $$$$ - I'm thinking of hiring someone I know to come in and deep clean the kitchen/bathroom/floors about once a month. I can keep up with day-to-day pretty well, but the heavier cleaning is becoming more physically taxing. I just have a hard time getting my mind around paying someone to do something I feel like I should, and could, be doing myself. A friend has been urging me to do this for some time, so I'm probably going to look into it this weekend -- the "call Mardorina" on the list.

18. Pineapple square
19. Pick out new baby blanket pattern

Sunday:
20. Cull old and clip new coupons
21. Make grocery list
22. Four pattern rows on lapghan
23. Work - journal links
24. Cluster-X square

The onion sets didn't get planted, primarily because I can't figure out where I can sacrifice a plot of land to them. I'll have to look around tomorrow.

For Sunday:
  1. Finish laundry
  2. Sweep hallway floor
  3. Damp mop bedroom and hallway floor
  4. Transplant at least one thing from the deck into the ground
  5. Finish book
  6. Move two planters off deck
  7. Sow grass seed in back "yard"
  8. Make hummus
  9. Sweep bunnies' room
  10. Move dog food into storage (instead of in a box in the middle of my bathroom floor)

I'll try to get the microwave cleaned and laundry put away before bed. No crocheting tonight, so I'll move the square to tomorrow.

Saturday:
10. Clean microwave
16. Fold and put away laundry

Sunday:
18. Pineapple square
20. Cull old and clip new coupons
21. Make grocery list
22. Four pattern rows on lapghan
23. Work - journal links
24. Cluster-X square

I talked to my friend, and though part of my mind is still muttering at me for being a lazy bum, I'm going to have her come every other weekend to seriously clean the kitchen, bathroom, and floors. I'm considering it a mental health expense, because I can be rid of the black cloud of "I ought to be doing...." hanging over me. I suspect I'm getting "brother in law rates" and I decided to just do this for myself. She's coming in the morning to start.

I won't be cleaning all that much less because the last couple of years I've done far too little anyway, but I won't be fretting about not doing it, and will be happier is a more orderly apartment.

Me: :bowing: :hero: my friend Mardorina

I used to have a house-cleaner come in every other week and do the whole house. It is worth every penny if you find someone who does a good job.

I finished the last two Saturday tasks, one last night, one this morning. I started and abandoned the piineapple square - didn't like the pattern.

Sunday:
18. Pineapple square - abandoned
20. Cull old and clip new coupons
21. Make grocery list
22. Four pattern rows on lapghan
23. Work - journal links
24. Cluster-X square
25. Finish book
26. Explore LibriVox, free audiobook site

My apartment is being cleaned! WOO-HOO! Thanks for the support for this decision that doesn't feel at all frugal but is making me very happy.
