You know the game and we're gonna play it... ;P

~~~~~~
-Today I got a free hamburger (extra pickles) at McD's using a valentine's coupon-- full disclosure, I did pay $1.48 for a soda to go with it.
-Yesterday at work (technically 2 days ago, since I work the night shift...) 1.5 fancy sandwiches and some fruit from trays left over from some schmancy meeting...
- And, technically this happened in February, but I only found out about it yesterday, so I'm counting it... $200 in credit card rewards (sign up bonus) plus $16 in regular rewards because we are spending sooooo much money on groceries lately... not even restaurants... just "groceries"
Not technically free, since we already paid for the entire house, but I'm ridiculously tickled about all the 1x1 pieces of lumber we pulled out of all 4 sides of every old window in our new house. That gave me a nice little stash of them to use for various purposes. Right now I have them in mind for a can rotator.
It's a rack to store canned foods in. My version will be a FIFO (first in, first out) style based on this video, but much smaller and freestanding. I'm tired of manually rotating cans every time we buy new canned food, and it should also be handy for inventory control so I can tell at a glance what needs restocking and also provide better organization so fewer things get lost in the pantry.
More McDonald's :/ I know, not good for me, but yummy (and free...) This morning on the way to grocery shop, it was a sausage,egg, and cheese mcmuffin using the last of my points. On the way home yeaarrrrsss later (it felt like years, anyway) I used my last valentine coupon for one more hamburger. So now all I have left are coupons for juice/milk and apple slices... much healthier (I don't like ice cream much, so I'll have to find some kids to give the soft serve coupons to...)
An old shower curtain from mom, which I will use as a dust cover over our kitchenette table during the rip and tear of Sheetrock when the second window gets put in.
She also gave us a small 4 peg coat rack. No idea what we might need it for but I suspect we'll use it for something.
We also retrieved the old window frames from the trash trailer. We plan to try to rehab a few of the old sanctuary windows into clerestory windows in a shed, and we're hoping we can replace rotted frame parts from some windows with good parts from others and cobble together enough to make a few good windows.
Just now a juice box from McD's using one of my valentine coupons and a 6-piece nugget free with the app... those are both in the fridge for ravenous teens to find-- I was just there for a soda because I got a bad headache while I was out and I'm hoping the caffeine will help...
Last week I got a free bottle of "apple scent" soap scent from Michaels using a $5 reward they sent me for purchases that were actually DD15s, but we used my account for the military discount... so for me it really was TRULY free (vs a kickback...) I got that to mix with oil and sugar at the house for a sugar scrub because I am allergic to paying the prices they are charging at the stores!!!
DH and I won several small denomination gift cards at an event today. We each got a small door prize, too.
