Well I haven't checked the mail yet...But I did get a hair brush for free at work...It's used, but it's free and I can use it for my clients at work. Another girl went out and bought all new hair brushes and her old ones are still in perfect condition, and she offered them to all that wanted them! So that's about a $5 savings for me!
1)Breakfast ( a friend gave us three bags of cereal yesterday (march) -we opened one today)
2)Lunch (free at work for me free lunch for me all week)
3)Dinner (free at church for me and the kids - hubby had leftovers)
4)Breakfast tomorrow(a friend gave us some of her homemade Cinnamon rolls today we will eat them for breakfast tomorrow
5)lean ground chicken it is a new thing with a local company and they sent some home with Hubby to try (He is suppose to report back how we like it)
6)And two bags of hand me downs for my son (He is set of Spring and Summer now and I didn't spend anything for clothes for him)
It was a great free things day (and that is no April Fools Day joke)
I prepaid for $15 and went to pump it... staring off at the traffic, I glanced over and noticed the pump didn't stop. I went back in to the gas station with the money, but they told me it was their fault.
So far in April:
Bag of very nice hand-me-downs for my 8 yr. old grandson
2-liter bottle of Dr. Pepper
Nearly free...16 oz. Kraft Ranch dressing ($1.58 at Walmart and I had a $1 off coupon so it cost 8 cents)
NEO Chall. for April 0/30
Coupon Chall. for April: $1.00
Grocery Chall. for this week: 0/$50
Change Jar Chall.: $6.70
My kids keep eating the rice snacks. not my cuppa, but they seem to enjoy them- they disappear pretty quickly, and I'd rather they have those than their too frequent candy runs. BTW, they're actually adults, so I can't dictate their food choices anymore.
