Last night a family member gave me and my daughter a full size bottle of Vera Wang and Amerarige de Givenchy perfume! Thats like a hundred bucks or more there. They didn't like the smell but we do! Must be nice to spend that kind of money and decide you don't like it. heh.

Ha-ha, I needed some new perfume to, plus the bottles look pretty in the bathroom. :hat:

I have been saving for a haircut for a while (money is tight right now) so I finally saved enough and told DH and FIL that I was going (FIL didn't know I had to stash money away to get a haircut) but then FIL said he needed one too and asked if he could come along. I told him sure and when mine was done (he was done way before me) he had already paid for it and left the tip! He said it was because I took him. I would have taken him anyway but it was a nice treat so now I can put that money towards the Christmas fund.

I also received a Quaker granola bar and Old Spice body wash in the mail.

A friend of ours dropped off a red bottle of wine as well.

Went to a friend's and helped her out with chores she can no longer do. Gave her some hm laundry detergent and ingredients for more so she can make it too if she'd like. Gave her some things for an auction benefitting a cat charity near and dear to her. Was sent home with 5 loaves of sandwich bread, english muffins and raisin bread. Yum!
