My mother and I went to a Open house yesterday, its part of the new annex for our area hospital.
We got free coffee
free sample of choc chip cookie, sugar cookie, fudge brownie and a blueberry scone.
ALso they gave us pocket calendars
a pocket pack which is the size of a small flashlight and inside it had 2 pens with stick note paper.
My parents went to a meat sale and bought us
10lb package of hamburger meat (2)
another pack of pork chops
8lb bag of gravy train dog food
I keep telling them to stop doing that, but my dad insists, he says I never ask for anything so this is his way of giving me something. I do appreciate it, it cuts the food budget down even lower. He also gave me another bag of the black walnuts that he stores in the winter from his Walnut tree. I use them for baking alot.
