I forgot the best one...

On a trip for my job I got a Free Adidas Duffel bag with 2 tshirts & a pair of shorts in it. One shirt & the shorts didn't fit so they went into the gift closet!

The motherlode! A nearby renter didn't take away their stuff when they moved. The owner/landlord decided to empty her stuff out of his garage. The dumpster was overflowing with really good pickings! Just some of the stuff we took...

~ unopened packages of facial tissue...those little purse size packages.

~ a necklace. There were lots there, but I only took one I liked.

~ craft paint

~ a sarong.

~ an unused photo frame. There were lots with photos in them...some wedding photos.

~ silk flowers...large hydrangea type thingies...just the right colour for our living room.

~ a BASIC makeup bag for travel.

~ what DH calls "a cable for the TV". No elaboration given. Even he was out to check this dumpster!
