we got a battery charger for the hubbys new boat. some guy the hubby fishes with said he had 1 he never uses, said he could have it if he wanted it. we were pricing one at walmart last night and a marine charger was between 40 and 53 bucks.
i also got a $10 gift card from lowes (hopefully i can put it towards a new storm door) and some shampoo/conditioner samples.
Yesterday was my lucky day, I guess. I haven't received anything free all month, then yesterday (St Patrick's Day), my sister and I went to Starbuck's (as part of her birthday lunch), and they had HUGE bags of used coffee grounds set out for free for gardeners. She and I each snagged one, so I got about 15 lbs of coffee grounds to add to my compost pile! Then I got home, and there was a free sample of Electrosol d/w tabs in my mail!
Got a loveseat, 4 recliners, 1 coffee table, 2 end tables and a lamp. A friend called that in the mobilehome park he manages
he had a trailer to clear out, was I intrested in these items. DH and I rode over and brought all home, he really needed the stuff gone soooo. We changed out DH old recliner for a newer leather lazy boy ( mobilehome had been owned by an old couple). The other items we offered up on freecycle, all have new homes today.
