~ nothing great in the mail - but as I was driving to the doc's office to pick up a rx (have to pick it up in person, it can't be called in) I saw a little sign on the side of the road that said "free greens - u pick"

I was so happy - so little j & I stopped & picked a baggie of greens -- I left a little thank you note -- it was someone's garden & they were kind enough to share with strangers! That just made my day -- I had the greens w/ dinner - yummy!

Also, I am getting free airfare, hotel and meals in Ottawa for 2 days while I attend a career fair for a company that I have submitted my resume to! I'm hoping to walk out of there with a job, but if nothing else its a free trip!

Well, besides all the free samples we get, we got a HUGE surprise today; a check from the Mortgage CO for $800 dollars, some overage check from the escrow account we have.
Going straight to the bank to deposit it tomorrow to help with the $2200.00 property tax bill due in DEC. I am really excited about it though, now I can use my sick cash from work to pay off some consumer debt...

I cannot wait to get out of this debt!!!:santasm:

Today my momma came by and dropped off a new jogging suit she got me and two shirts for Ali.
In the mail a poster and booklet on the Constitution. Arrived at a great time, Ali has to have read the Constitution by Monday for her Co-op class. She is going to use this to study by over the weekend.
