DH was given these handmade fish...i thought they were made from metal but they are made from clay. This lady makes them and gave him 3 of them for checking out her computer, eventhough that is his job. They are beautiful. I can't wait to hang them in the bathroom.
Now Dh wonders how much she charges for them...they would make wonderful christmas gifts if they aren't too expensive.
~ a samples bag with cranberry juice, cinnamon cookies, christie crisps, chai tea bag
~ a turkey (a gift)
~ runners for Ds, swim trunks for Ds
~ a teddy for Dd
~ a rice cooker for me ( a church friend bought it and never used it)
11 videos from my DH's business partner. We are the only people he knows that still have a VCR. We have a small 13" TV/VCR and very seldom watch TV. The video's are all in like new condition and most are classics:
*A Charlie Borwn Christmas
*Santa CLaus Is Coming To Town
*It's A Wonderful Life
*An Affair To Remember
*The Razor's Edge
*To Catch A Thief
*Some Like It Hot
*North By Northwest
*Lawrence Of Arabia
I got the COOLEST thing yesterday in the mail....
Coupons for FIVE FREE Suave products (up to $2.49 each.)
If you remember, Suave ran a promotion this summer. You filled out a survey online to determine which of their products was best for you and then they were to send you three full-size products of whatever was best.
Well, the letter with the coupons explains that they had a computer glitch and lost the information about who matched up with what products, so instead of sending the products, they sent the coupons. I'm sure to reinstill goodwill about our personal information not being compromised in their computer glitch.
Is that cool or what?
As I told my dh, now the challenge is to find the biggest, best bargain I can get for up to $2.49.
