I got a free telescoping weenie fork someone left on the picnic table at our campsite. It looks like it has been all winter, so I doubt anyone will come looking for it anymore.

We got a free orchid, 3 cotter pins, and a giant box of 55 gallon trash bags at Home Depot, courtesy of our cash back CC.

Went to a yard sale, got a bunch of free stuff. Paid $1.50 and got medium size tote, spatula, 2 new dish cloths, household pail, post-it notes, bunch of hangers including padded, new scented hand cream, 2 pillow covers (go under pillowcase), large plant pot, beanie baby and so much more.

DH and I gave up our boring holiday weekend at home in order to help a friend demo products at a hobby show. In exchange for our time and effort we received:

- a free hotel room for 4 nights
- paid meals
- entrance to the show (a $75 value)
- over $130 each in promotional products
- two $10 gift certificates
- a currently unknown amount of store credit with the company we volunteered for

In addition, we "spent" $70 worth of gift certificates we have been collecting for a few years, and essentially got more free toys.

I was able to use my Walmart savings catcher thing for the first time. Love free stuff.

a microwave, neighbor got a new one and I got the old one. Only problem, my kitchen is not big enough for both the MW and my large toaster oven. I am still pondering where to put it. I might leave it in the living room.
