dh bought a bbq yesterday and the store kinda like a walmart... had as the weekly freebie if you spend $250 a set of soft soap products full size.. mix mens and womens 2 deodorants , vanilla body wash, 3 liquid hand soaps, 2 irish spring body washes and a coconut scrub. gave the irish spring and scrub to ds friend.

Had enough in swagbuck gc's to Amazon and got DH a key finder (that uses a phone app) for Christmas..... I told him he needed a GPS on his keys as he lost them in the grass, in the back of the car, my purse......

it has been a banner month for free stuff for me. chickens...6 total now and a rooster may be joining. plants and a mini shed thing about 4’ square and tall, 10lbs of onions to eat and share. thursday i was picking up cardboard from the recycling center to lasagna garden with an grabbed a bit of metal to weigh it down...the metal was a complete meat smoker and totally clean! i don’t need it but a friend smokes lots of stuff and said she’d take it. also some scrap metal and cedar fence slats that went on the coop.
i am trying to share things back to people and the world too.

from a free pile, several pairs of large fancy flipflops, in sealed packages, will try to sell on Ebay. Bunch of photo storage sleeves, ditto. Two decorative tins.

people are putting out free stuff instead of yard sales, it seems. Makes more sense. Went to one "sale" and got a nice bathroom rug, some earrings, necklace (sterling), several framed pictures, couple of purses.

Also 2 packages of corn Toast-R-Cakes at the food shelf - haven't had those in years, and I love them! We used to get a lot of artisan type bread but since the virus hit, it's mostly supermarket bread. Still get so much more than people can use. I guess that is a good thing and the pigs get the leftovers.

We picked up a nice dryer drum at the dump today. I use them for planters.

I also salvaged a nice dresser top to use for a closet shelf, and we also found some nice 2x4s for assorted purposes. We saved more by salvaging than it cost us for 2 gallons of gas and the $7.50 dump fee to get rid of 8 months of trash, so it was a good day.
