I got about ten assorted pieces of fabric to use for charity sewing from a seller at a large rummage sale Saturday. She didn't want to pack them up to take home and was happy to get rid of them for a good cause.

A couple of Combos snacks at the grocery store. Husby got some free candy from people at work.

Can't think of anything else, unless you count repurposing stuff. I've been reusing a few things I had bought for purposes that didn't work out, putting them to use for other things, and also going through dog gear to figure out what we can use for the new dogs that the previous dogs had.

5 bottles of in-date, cortisone nasal spray, which I use, donated to the food shelf but we do not pass out medicine. About $20 a bottle retail. As volunteers we get dibs on the stuff we can not pass out, like anything with booze in it, mouthwash, beer bratwurst, mustard with wine, etc. Also vitamins and supplements.
