We've just started adding it our bread, works great. I've also added it to soups/stews and pancakes.

Am I missing a great idea here? We don't fry it, as we're both > 50 and don't need the fat.

You mean something like leftover oatmeal? If there's enough for a serving I just keep it in the fridge and reheat it the next day in the microwave.

If you blenderize it with the liquid you are using to make pancakes, waffles, yeasted or quick breads, it hides itself as to be unnoticed!! Sneaky way of adding some whole grains.

I cook extra and put it into a loaf pan. When it's cold, slice it and fry it. You don't have to use much oil or butter if you let it get good and hot.

I also put it through the blender and then in pancakes, waffles or other baked goods.

I like the idea of meatloaf. You could also do meatballs.

How about a crumble topping of some sort? Recipe might need tweaking but it should work.
