I tend to stockpile what I can get free, or purchase at loss leader prices. If it is something I rarely find a good deal on, I don't stockpile it. Does that make any sense?

Some things in my stockpile now:

Toothpaste
Razors and shave cream
Deodorant
Shampoo
Toilet Paper
Paper towels
Hair Color
Feminine Hygeine products
Bath Soap and Body Wash
Air fresheners
Cleaning wipes

Baking mixes, brownie, cake, muffin, Bisquick, pancake mixes
Baking chocolate, semi-sweet (I got ten 8 oz. packages of this FREE with coupons)
Cereal (10-12 boxes)
Oatmeal
Canned and pouch tuna
Peanut butter
Jam and preserves
Raisins (FREE)
Coffee
Salad dressing
Mayo
Ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, soy sauce (all FREE)
Canned beans, refried beans, and chili
Pasta and pasta sauce
Rice mixes and instant potatoes

That is not everything, but my hands are numb (carpal tunnel) and it is time to go to bed.

Ok that was a lot but that is basically what I have right now. We are going to go this whole next month without buying anything but the basics milk, oj, potaotes things like that but we don't want to have to do any stocking up so I was excited when I saw Meijers had canned veggies and fruit on sale, ice cream and a few other things and I had q's and Target has pepsi on sale. So we will be pretty well stocked for the month and hope to be able to keep it that way.

:yeah: Figured I'd just let Deb say it for me  -- we have very similar stockpiles.

I also have a lot of canned veggies, frozen veggies, and I buy meat in bulk and freeze it.

Yes, I didn't even get to my freezer stockpile! Right now there are lots of FREE Eggo waffles, Cheap Digiorno pizzas, ground turkey, FREE Mrs. Smith's pie slices, and Minute Maid OJ concentrate. I am a little low on frozen veggies right now, but if a deal comes along soon, I am ready to stock up!

We figure we will have to buy milk, oj, beer (that is dh's thing)potatoes and a few other little things here and there but nothing major.

I don't think I could list my entire hoard, so I'll just list what I need to add to the stockpile:
**** Non People-Food Items****
Toilet paper (down to my last 12 double rolls)
Paper towels
Cat Food
Cat Litter
Dawn dish detergent

****People Food****
Flour
Frozen Greens
Mushrooms
Onions
Potatoes

Thankfully we're doing good on everything else.

What items do you consume a lot?

Juicy juice
organic milk
all natural nitrate/nitrite free lunch meats
hormone and antibiotic free sandwich cheese
Fresh fruit. (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, pineapple)
Fresh veggies (tomatoes, romaine hearts mostly, along with anything we may eat as a side)
whole chickens, fish, pieces of beef (not usually ground, I cook one beef piece and blend it, then cook again)
organic butter (or organic heavy cream that I shake to butter)
eggs
nitrate/nitrite free bacon/ sausage
plain grits
organic whole grain bread
whole grain rice
olive oil
AP flour
Breyers ice cream

Those are the only things I can think of that we get over and over again. We pretty much make do with it. If I had to stockpile any of that, it would have to be canned at home, and I do not have a pressure canner, though I would love one.
We really stick to getting the same things over and over again, I have no idea why.

I'm in Florida also and Publix this week I do believe has the Newmans spaghetti sauce buy one get one free. No limit. Hope this helps.

You can double check at their wesite www.publix.com

I too would find it easier to list what I do need to add instead of what I have. Some of these are on a replenishing round as used before expiration date.

Hamburger
Chicken ( only because we have been using these two and need to replenish )

3-4 boxes Cheerios or Rice Krispies
2-3 bags Splenda
4 Reg coffee big cans
5 large cannisters Coffee Mate ( we drink alot of coffee )
12 each canned corn, green beans, carrots, pork & beans, black beans, chili beans, tomatos, tomato sauce ( been making alot of soup )
2 crackers
2 large gallon size cooking oils ( deep fryer )
2 12pk tp
3-4 frozen concentrated juices
2 shampoos
2 conditioners
1 Arm & Hammer VERY large box of clothes washing powder
2 Final Touch fabric softener ( cheapest and works great with 1/2 softener and 1/2 water
2 Aluminum foil
2 deodorants

Sounds like alot until considered I've used alot out of it.

Stock what you use and use what you stock.

Example:

You don't want or need a case of Spam that all expires in a couple of months IF you only eat a can a month OR if you don't eat it at all.
