I have a few, but here's just a sampling. LOL
I go nuts when anyone makes noise with their fork on their teeth when eating. argh.
I also go nuts whenever I am asked my opinion when the person truly doesn't want it.

A couple of things that drive me nuts:

*When dh snores
*When someone finishes a sentence for me before letting me finish my thought

*And like you, when someone asks for my opinion and really doesn't want it.

Wow, CJ and Sara I was just talking to a lady the other day and it really irked me. I heard all about her and her kids and grandkids and life and she asked me ONE question and before I was done my short little answer she said she had to hurry along!:( Don't like that one bit!! Why do they even ask?

~rude children
~store clerks that don't want to help you, like you are bothering them by being in their store
~when someone answers for me and doesn't even get it right (Oh, Heather will like ~~)

Loud car stereos.

And strange men that call me sweetie or honey or darling, that's waaaayyyyy to personal for me and kind of creeps me out.
Wow, I'm certainly an irritable person aren't I??? LOL:toothy:

using a comma when you need a semicolon
dogs that bark for HOURS on end
dripping water faucets (especially when I am trying to sleep!)
using "I seen" when "I have seen" or "I saw" is what is really needed
A LOT is TWO words!
Disrespectful kids

All of the above...

especially people who walk their dogs and don't care that they are leaving their droppings in peoples yards or on the sidewalk, ew!

lazy people

rude kids & parents

unkept beards

women wearing too tight clothes... and thong bikinis

spandex

People who chew food with their mouths open

People who think that being late for things is OK

And people who habitually let their dogs get loose...that wind up in my yard.......

I am horribly guilty about when I chat, I just blabber on and on. I don't mean to. I just get typing and forget to look up at the screen! So for all those who have chatted with me, sorry!! :toothy:

Lori- I'm with you! My parents were BOTH English teachers- you spoke and wrote properly in my house at all times! Now when I hear "I seen" it really makes me cringe! ;)

My other peeves:
-- People who talk down to me. I don't care who you are, I am not five years old, nor am I a complete idiot, so don't talk as though I am.
-- People who asked while I was pregnant: "Was this planned?" (How rude!! ) OR came up and touched my stomach without asking
--People who try to make me feel guilty because I'm not breastfeeding... especially when they don't bother to listen to the medical issues involved with my daughter.

People who smack their food while eating (or talking while eating)

People who think wedding vows of fidelity aren't to be taken seriously (a male co-worker was very disgusted because I don't find it difficult to be faithful to DH when he works in another state).

Stores that only have two or three of the featured loss leader on hand

(and add my vote to all the ones above - esp. the the thong and bimbo clothes - for hims or hers!)
