I don't know! I'm so excited... we are heading to my sil,bil & family's home in MA and she is such a great cook. She's the one who made me feel comfortable cooking the new age stuff, late 80's early 90's Silver Palate, Carry Out Cuisine, Moosewood, Vegetarian Epicure etc. just stepping out of the norm and be more experimental.
It's been so long since we've spent any time together & back in the day I was a huge chocolate hound. She made me an out of this world flour-less chocolate cake & I just know she is going to knock my socks off with something decadent. I can't wait! I'll be reporting back for those who want to know.

Little One was sick last night so we had noodles instead of enchiladas. Hopefully she is better today so we can have enchiladas. Otherwise, more soup!

Something with Chicken. I bought a large bag of chicken leg quarters for 59cents a pound last night and I need to prep them and clean them up before I put them in the freezer...so I will keep enough out for dinner tonight....I'm thinking possibly a pot pie, or just baked chicken with roasted potatoes and broccoli

Well, I've been on bedrest since Thursday, and will be until Tuesday, so I'm not entirely sure what we'll have, since it will be up to Dh to do the cooking for awhile! So far, we've been getting by on leftovers, but I think we only have so many of those!!!

Going out to a nice italian restaurant for a friend's B-day
Crossing my fingers they have my favorite dessert: "lobster tails". Its a flaky dough filled with mascarpone. Soooo good!

We are eating at our favorite Mexican restuarant since it is grocery shopping day. We are meeting his brother and SIL there and springing for them but they don't know it yet.

Pretty much the same as last night. Frozen pizzas, chicken soup and leftover potato soup. My family is passing around a miserable cold bug and hopefully tomorrow I'll feel up to actually cooking. The good news is that we aren't eating take-out because of the menu planning challenge.

We went to PFChangs for dinner (had a gift card) and I had a gluten free dish....their version of General Tso's chicken. It was AWESOME! I LOVE that place!!!

When I came home, I made some hummus out of barbanzo bean, lentil and pea sprouts. I'll post a link to the recipe, but here is the picture shown served with GF pretzels:

I found the recipe at Sprout People which is a great resource for growing and using home grown sprouts:
