I just finished a pair of socks. I'm working on felted clogs for a friend and a sweater for me. I also have a lace shawl on the needles, but I think I'm going to frog it....

I've heard of the felted clogs but.....do you wear them outside? I"ll google.

for the rag rugs, the needle size depends on the size of the fabric thread. Due to a mistake on my part - fabric is really wide, I'm using a "j" hook. this involves a lot of tugging - not a graceful crochet - but then if I'd used a larger hook, the rug wouldn't have been as tight.

Bottom line - I don't think the size hook matters as long as you get the effect you want!!
