What's on your needles? I have socks, about 1/2 way on first sock. I usually have a big project and a small project. Hum, need to check the stash and see what if I have enough yarn for a shawl.

What are you making?

1 dish towel and 1 dishcloth

I'm hoping to buy some circs for socks as soon as I find a sale or good coupon. :)

If you sign up on Michaels website you get a 40% off coupon. At A C Moore, you usually get a 40% off every week in the paper and if you forget your coupon, at our store, they'll just scan one for you.

Hope you find your sale!

I'm planning on finishing my crocheted rag rug today, then will make some more crocheted dish clothes. Don't have anything on my knitting needles right now!!

I just finished a pair of socks. I'm working on felted clogs for a friend and a sweater for me. I also have a lace shawl on the needles, but I think I'm going to frog it....

I've heard of the felted clogs but.....do you wear them outside? I"ll google.

Oh no, hope you can avoid the frog. Why do you think you need to frog?

for the rag rugs, the needle size depends on the size of the fabric thread. Due to a mistake on my part - fabric is really wide, I'm using a "j" hook. this involves a lot of tugging - not a graceful crochet - but then if I'd used a larger hook, the rug wouldn't have been as tight.

Bottom line - I don't think the size hook matters as long as you get the effect you want!!

On the needles:

1. Strawberry waffle socks
portable. Sock A, OTN, lives in my purse.
2. Blueberry waffle socks.
Sock A is partially-done and waiting till fall ... when I see how much my 13-yr-old has grown. Sock B lives on my nightstand.
3. Latte lace socks.
Sock A, 2/3 done; sock B, 2/5 done. These live on the coffee table with my row counter.
4. Malabrigo scarf for DH. (http://www.knitlist.com/96gift/giftsscarf.htm)
This is very portable; it lives in my car.
5. Vampire scarf.
(http://gherkinsbucket.wordpress.com/patterns/ -- love bites).
I'm about halfway through and finally got the pattern memorized. I don't care for this, but DD#1 requested it.

When I finish #3, I'm going to cast on for my first vest.
When I finish #5, I'm going to cast on for a lacy, but simple shawl:
