Although I believe were homeschooling all year, we always finish our school curriculum the middle of June. How about you?

I am not homeschooling this year but the last few years I would have my "official"school term run with the local public school. Although we also were schooling year round.

PS. My son started high school this year and although we are having some trouble with his grades, not because he can't do it, but because he isn't doing it, I have had teachers, who didn't know he was homeschooled comment on how much more mature and grounded he was.

This year, we're ending on June 13th. We do continue with life skills type activities year round though, and reading never stops for my daugher... she loves to read.

We've already finished some of our heavier academic subjects and have added a few other things to take their place. I ordered the standardized tests to give my kids and when we are finished with that, we will take a break except for Spanish and Literature that we will continue through the summer.

My dks will be finished math by May 20th and their other subjects by the end of the month.

We'll be finished as of Monday, May 12!!!! WooHooooo!!! I'm always happy when we finish up a school year, vacation!!!!!!

We don't stick to the usual school schedule, but we'll probably go out for pizza or something in June. We do lessons during the summer when they fit in. DD has already finished her math books for the year, but I found some fun extras to keep her skills up.

Oooh... We moved this winter cross country, so we won't finish till around June 30th.

Moving takes a lot of time.

We'll continue with homeschool preschool through the summer because ds thinks it's fun. We won't be doing a very heavy load though.

We will finish up the end of June. Still do math/grammar "minutes" through the summer to keep fresh.:smball:

ummm year round schedule here...7 weeks on 2 weeks off soo we will finish our term in August and begin our new term in Sept
we will prolly continue with this schedule...it seems ot work pretty good for us..my kids do not do well with unstructured time...usually by the third week of being off they are really NOT fun to live with...heheh
