This is a secret - we both belong to the same bookclub (don't tell anyone) and I just got in the mail this morning - Buy one at regular price and get the rest at 50% off

There are about 10 books I want - UGH!!!! Why do they do this to tempt us - they have books in there I've been drooling over for some time!!!

How can one resist (especially Calico and I) in not purchasing all that we want. I'm sure Calico is in the same boat (although I haven't spoken to her about this) as I am - wondering if we should, if we shouldn't, if we should, if we shouldn't.

Hmmmmm wonder what she is going to do!! I know what I'm going to do!!! order while there on sale :toothy:

Do you get the same offers in the mail for those who belong to bookclubs or is it only Calico and myself who belong to any bookclubs. Man if they do this with the craft bookclub - I'm in BIG trouble!!!

Mine isnt bookclubs it is music clubs...buy one and get 3 free...ackkk I have 100's of cd's and keep buying them...they know how to get my business...it still figures out to a good price sooo look at it like this...you probably would have bought it for regular price sooo be thankful for the bargain...heheheheh(I keep telling myself this everytime I order) ROFL

DH and I have a dvd club and they have the same sale. Last month it was buy 1 at reg price get unlimiteds for $10 each. DH showed much restraint and only got 3!

CJ, I don't have mine yet, there's a sale, oh my!!!!!:laugh: Now you have me real curious!! Well, my friend, look at it this way 10 at 50% off, you are really only "purchasing" 5 books, does that make it any better!!!

The temptation is great isn't it?? I can sit down for an hour and go over and over their catalogue trying to convince myself that I need these books!!!! Mind you if they are books that you/I have been looking at and they come on half price, well we're goin' for it!!!!!!!!! Now I will admit, I thought you were talking about the craft bookclub and yes I would have been in HUGE trouble there....I'm still waiting on my FQ's to arrive!!

Also I figure when I join that I'll fulfill my obligation and then not bother but oh no, I have belonged to these bookclubs for years!!!!!!!
