I just got curious about this because I noticed that now that it's hotter I have lost a LOT of my normally ravenous appetite! At night time when I would normally eat a whole new meal, I just have a small snack or nothing at all. :)

Not only that but I am craving different foods than I did all winter. Right now my favorite foods are:

~Honeydew chopped up and mixed in with Vanilla Yogurt
~Fruity yogurt with some craisins tossed in (or some other topping)
~Corn on the cob
~Juice~Mainly tarty ones
~Soda's Like: Grapefruit soda/strawberry kiwi soda
~Watermellon/Grapes
~Canned peaches (i'll take fresh when it's cheap enough though!)


Basically any foods that are sweet/juicy and light..I still love my salads but my one bad food I'm loving now is tator tots and curly fries :eek:

Food's I found I am getting tired of now:
Turkey/PB Jelly sandwhiches
Cold Cereal
Baked/boiled potato's
Basically all those dry types of carb/protein foods...

So tell us what you are enjoying this summer :)

I was thinking the same thing the other day Heather. It's true for me...I know in winter I like the "comfort" foods, you know the kind on a cold winters night...potatoes, chili, stews, buns....but now I do find myself wanted "lighter" things. Also I am outside alot more and not wandering in and out of my kitchen so I know that helps!!;) :D

I'm craving for watermelon! :toothy:

But, alas, I could eat anything that is tasty, even in the summer! lol ;) But now with my WW program, I am eating much better and lighter....I'll be good.:D

O, yeah, my eating habits usually change a lot through the summer. I feel better, and start eating better. The snow through the winter depressess me, so I eat, and eat, and eat some more. lol

Well my eating habits changed drastically April 1st of this year. I went from eating tons of meat to eating none and from eating tons of junk food to eating none.

I went to eating more veggies (way more) and eating more fruit, so my eating habits had already changed.

After saying that, we always eat more veggies and fruits at this time of the year and all through until fall, because we get them FRESH. Up until late spring, we have veggies and fruit, but its hard to get them fresh because of where we live and we don't have the variety that we do in the summer.

So I would have to say that yes, our eating habits change.
