Well it's another dreary, rainy day here. Not a whole lot planned for today.

*Run a few errands this morning
*Call and make a Drs appt
*Take a nap! I had major insomnia last night. I only got about 3 hours total sleep. That just doesn't cut it for me. I feel like a walking (or should I say sitting) zombie right now.

Working from home today. It feels cold here. The weather chanel says it's 57 and is supposed to get up to the low 70s today.

Browned beef for beef stew
Laundry in washer
Cleaning out my cabinets today and re-lining shelves.

That should keep me busy!

Good morning! It's a beautiful, sunny, warm (57* at 9:30am!!) Wednesday.
I've already been cleaning my butt off. I may have to go out to run an errand today, but I'm hoping to put that off so that dh can do it or we can do it after he gets home from work.

All the kids are off to school, dh is almost on his way out the door. So far I have:
~cleaned all the surfaces in the living room (decluttering)
~picked up all the toys in the living room
~organized the kids magazines/books under the coffee table
~picked up the office floor
~took the recycleables out
~cleaned all the surfaces in the dining room
~put a clean (Christmas) tablecloth on the dining room table
~loaded & run the dishwasher
~washed & put away the extra dishes
~put out my Christmas rug, towels, and pot holders in the kitchen
~vacuumed the entire downstairs area rugs (front foyer, office, living room, my bedroom, dining room, kitchen, and mudroom)
~swept the mudroom & kitchen

The only things left to do are:
~make my bed
~wipe down surfaces in the kitchen (sink, microwave, stove top, table, tiny countertop)
~pick up & wipe down the bathroom
~clean off my dresser
~wash/dry/fold laundry
~match socks :ugh:

Good Morning all!

Northernmom glad you are o.k.!! I know how scary earthquakes can be! Yikes! Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight.

All of you inspire me so much when I read this (now daily!). I am doing my usual work around the house much more enthusiastically! If feels good to accomplish much more!

It is cold here today, at 63 degrees in the house. We haven't turned our heater on yet this season. My kids were complaining a little, guess it'll start going on soon for a bit in the mornings just to warm up the house when we get up.

The kids are off to school (except 4 yr. old). Breakfast done, made school lunches, packed up backpacks, did DD's hair, etc. etc. Made DS bed, picked up toys strewn about Family Room.

List for today:

unload dishwasher, load again
put away hand washed dishes from last night
MORE laundry (does it ever end?) LOL :)
grocery shop (new ads finally came out, yay! - after Thanksgiving break)
clean bathrooms
pick up kids from school
help with homework
no idea what is for dinner (until I shop) gotta get better at menu planning
watch "The Biggest Loser" (anyone else watch this show? ha!)
fall in bed

It made me think of places where there are large quakes and how scarey it must be.Made me thankful it was only a small one.

Well, first let me tell you, I had no energy today and didn't do much at all! I got my daily routines done, made the brownies & chicken salad and that was about it!! I'm trying to do a "mini" fall cleaning. That's what the "this week" list is. I don't do those things every week!

And my dh doesn't notice anything unless it's dirty! LOL
