Yogurt Pie

Recipe Description
Great, easy to make dessert. Just three ingredients!
Preparation Steps:
let the cool whipp thaw in the fridge
Level of Difficulty:
so simple it hurts!
Time Needed:
10 minutes
Ingredients:
1.one 9 inch deep dish gramham cracker, cookie crust
2.two individual tubs of the same flavor yogurt
3. one tub of cool whipp
Serves:
one slice
Directions:
1. mix the cool whipp and the yogurt together
2. spoon into the crust
3. chill. (we like it frozen) for two hours
4. serve

i make about 12 of these at a time and keep them in the freezer.
i have made these flavors:
strawberry
key lime pie
mixed berry
strawberry banana
cherry
blueberry
black cherry
peach
chocolate mousse

you can make it with just about any flavor that yogurt comes in!

Yum :lip:

I am lactose intolerant, but I just discovered that I can eat yogurts that have "active cultures" :yippee:

Moor, the yogurt containers: 8 oz, 6 oz, or...?

Thanks for this recipe--you reminded me that I can make these sort of pies now :)

Thank You.
I have about 20 yogurts that are real close to expiration that will not get eaten before they expire.
I am going to make a bunch up and freeze them.

I made this today. I made a strawberry one.
I did not have the pie crust but I did have some HM graham crackers. So I just crushed them up and put them in a 9 x 9 pan. May double and put in 9 x 13.
Made the filling and put in the freezer.
DH who does not like yogurt at all said it was good. (Did not tell him what is in it either)Will be making more as soon as I get some more cool whip and make more graham crackers.
Kids thought it tasted like strawberry ice cream.

I make this recipe often, my mom used to also! One year for 4th of July I decorated it with dollops of white cool whip, and red and blue berries. For lemon flavored you can use sliced lemons, or mandarin oranges. Lots of easy options that look good!!

Moor, thanks for this recipe! I did a key lime pie and a strawberry pie and my kids loved it. I did add another strawberry yogurt to the strawberry pie because I wanted a more intense strawberry taste.

Sara, I used the 8 oz cool whip and the 4 oz yogurt cups (both I got at Aldi). I think these are the correct sizes because this was all the pie shell would hold. (Moor, please correct me if this is wrong) :)

A lovely pie recipe! I haven't made it in ages! Thanks for posting the recipe Moor, and reminding me! I lost my recipe along the trail of life somewhere.
I do remember adding fresh crushed and drained fruit to the mix too. Heavenly.

How do you make the chocolate mousse version? Is there chocolate yogurt?

i forget who makes the custard type yogurts, but those make REALLY good pies!
