I made this today. Kinda like apple cobbler I guess.
2 cans crescent rolls
2 Granny smith apples peeled and cut into 24 thin strips. ( Actually it may take less than two apples depending on how big they are)
2 sticks butter ( yea, it's a lot!)
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
1 can mountain dew
2 tsp cinammon
Optional - 4 ounces creme cheese
Grease 8 by 9 pan.
Unroll crescent rolls. Place a couple slices apple per roll with a half teaspoon or so creme cheese between each if desired. Place in a greased pan. Melt butter, sugar, and cinammon in sauce pan. Pour over rolls. Then pour the Mt. Dew over rolls. ( Just do it!) Bake @ 350 for around 40 minutes.
Remove from oven . ( I take the rolls out of the butter mixture and transfer them to another pan after they sit for around 30 minutes.)
