Recipe Description
prk chops and kraut w/ potatoes and tomatoes and garlic
Preparation Steps:sautee 1/2 onion (or more) in 1 pat of butter. add some canola oil if you need it
sprinkle onion w/ cayenne pepper
let sautee w bit
add lots of chopped garlic
meanwhile, drain bag of kraut (save juice) rince kraut seperately to get rid of some of the sodium...
add 1/2 of the kraut juice to onion/garlic mixture. sprinkle w/ paprika and blck ppr.
1/4 about 2 potatoes or more if deisred
add kraut to onion mixture let simmer a few minutes then add potatoes for a few. no more than 8 mins.
put kraut mixture in 9 x 13 pan

you can alter it however for how many
Directions:put some pork chops (any type you like) and sprinkle them w/ paprika and whatever seasoning you like best. chop up some frsh tomatos that need to be used up (or a can of drained diced w/out juikce will work too)
then, the best part of all, add about 1/2 bottle of german or irish beer over it all!
cover w/ foil.
bake at 250 for about 2-1/2 hrs. then bake at 225 for about another 45 mins to 1 hour. (take foil off when you turn oven down) add more beer if it gets a bit dry. then, serve! very comforting
