Needle Arts Club Contest
Want to have fun and learn some new things about all the different Needle Arts out there? Well then put on your thinking caps and join us in our first Needle Arts Club Contest! The contest is open to all Needle Arts Club members and will run from today March 1<SUP>st</SUP> through March 12th.
Each day I will post a word associated with needle arts. It may be a type of needle art, a term used in one of the various needle arts or a tool you may use to do a specific needle art, etc. The thing is, you won’t know when I’m going to post the word for the day, it may be at 4am or 2pm you never know! Anything is possible!
You will have to unscramble the word and give a short description of what that word means or does and where and when you would use it in a particular needle art. If you can find a picture online and post it, that would be great too.
For instance the word for the day is crochet hook . Your answer would look something like this:
Crochet hook
a small hook, or a hooked needle (often of bone), used in crochet work..
The first person to get the correct answer will receive 1 point but very other day (the even numbered days) the person with the correct answer will receive 2 points.
1<SUP>st</SUP> Prize winner will receive this Afghan done in the V stitch, and a set of crochet hooks.
2<SUP>nd</SUP> Prize winner will receive a complete Counted Cross Stitch Kit .
3<SUP>rd</SUP> Prize winner will receive a doily made be me. As soon as I finish it I will post a picture. lol
